Daidai
t`s a bitter sour orange which was introduced to Japan from China. Daidai is said that once it bears fruit, the fruit does not fall or drop for good seven years. Therefore, Daidai from many generations steadily grows on the same tree, which symbolizes longevity of a family. ( prevents from falling family generations ).⋅Due to this reason, people use Daidais as a New Year`s decorations.
